Bertha Hirsch was the first leader of the Bernhard-Kahn-Lesehalle, founded by Emma Kahn, wife of the deceased Bernhard Kahn. In honour of the Families Kahn and Hirsch the nowadays so-called "Bernhard-Kahn-Bücherei" organized an exhibition in 1996 with material the leaders of the Bücherei collected in a worldwide action
